RJ Narsavage
In the spring of 2000, RJ was ready to return to the airwaves in the New York market after being off the air for nearly 4 years. As a CSB School of Broadcasting grad, RJ knew he could receive job placement assistance and free use of the studios at the CSB School of Broadcasting in northern NJ. Little did he know that in order to get back on the air, he first had to help build and open the doors of CSB School of Broadcasting's Arlington, VA, campus – and successfully be the team leader for 8 years.
RJ's start in radio was in Socorro, NM. That's all right ... no one else knows where it is, either. Then came Albuquerque, then New York City ... NOT! Without proper training, his first 4 years in radio were of little use in market No.1. Enter CSB School of Broadcasting and its unique hands-on, Learn By Doing® training. Tack on nearly 10 more years in radio, and RJ is now celebrating 20 years in the broadcast industry.
From Music Director to Program Director, part-time baby DJ to award-winning Afternoon Drive Jock, the voice of Midas Muffler in northeast PA to, yes, even sales – RJ has sat in nearly every seat there is at a radio station. His chair now resides in Crystal City, Virginia, surrounded by his Denver Broncos souvenirs and Barry Manilow memorabilia. Don't ask.
