Lau Lapides
Lau is a member of Actor's Equity Association (AEA), Screen Actors Guild (SAG), and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). She received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from the University of California, Irvine in 2000.
Lau has been a performer in many productions and has numerous film and TV credits. She performed in the critically acclaimed independent film Intermezzo, which won a Best Independent Film award in 1997, and in Boston worked as Minnie Driver's double in the Oscar-winning Good Will Hunting. As a voice-over talent in the LA and Boston areas, her voice can be heard selling everything from Home Depot News Online to Eukanuba Puppy Chow!
Lau has also directed many productions including Death and Motor Vehicles (SlamBoston Theatre); A Ticklish Situation (Boston Theater Marathon, 2006); God's Country (Babson College); Professional Skepticism (Bentley College); Dark Retreat and Christmas at Grandma's: What Big Teeth You Have (Playwrights' Platform Festival 2007 at Boston University); Member of the Bar, The Wish, Murphy the Cat, Gaslight and My Name is Art (Dragonfly Festivals 2006-7 at Devanaughn Theatre); Nosmo King, Mother Teresa of Flatbush and Equal Separate (Slam 2006 Festival at Another Country Productions); Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew and The She Show (Babson College); and Rumors (Merrimack College).
Lau currently is our speech/voice acting instructor.
Jon Anik
Jon Anik has been working in sports broadcasting since April of 2004, when he was hired as the Business Manager at WWZN 1510 AM The Zone in Boston. Prior to enrolling at CSB School of Broadcasting in 2003, Jon had worked as a Sports Correspondent for The MetroWest Daily News. Three months after being hired at 1510 The Zone, Jon was added to the afternoon drive show, The Diehards, as a co-host and update announcer. Jon worked on The Diehards until the show's end in October of 2005, at which time Jon took over as the Program Director at 1510.
In March of 2006, Jon was hired as a SportsCenter Anchor by ESPN Radio in Bristol, CT. Jon has gone on to work for ESPN in several different capacities. Jon presently serves as a fill-in host for ESPN Radio's GameNight and also worked as the in-studio host for ESPN Radio's 2006 NIT men's basketball coverage. Jon hosts a 30-minute show called ScoreCenter for ESPN Mobile Television on Friday nights and also works as a Boston Celtics analyst for New England Cable News.
An avid boxing enthusiast, Jon is a co-host of The Mouthpiece Boxing Show, having covered more than 25 championship fights in Las Vegas and throughout the United States. Jon is a Sports Media Instructor at CSB School of Broadcasting in Boston.
Bill Wightman
Bill has worked in the production departments of WEEI, WRKO and MIKE-FM in Boston. After 10 years of hosting morning-drive radio in central New York, Bill was hired as the afternoon jock at WAAF. He has 27 years of on-air experience, including 5 years as traffic reporter for Channel 7, morning drive host on WXKS-AM, and news anchor on Talk 96.9 FM and WROR.
Bill currently owns North Shore Media, a boutique agency that manages radio, television and print advertising for a number of Boston-area businesses. Bill teaches digital production at CSB School of Broadcasting.
Mike O'Reilly
Mike is a radio veteran with over 35 years of on-air experience in a variety of formats, including Rock, Top 40, Country and Oldies. Primarily hired as a "Morning Personality," Mike has entertained in several markets, including Portland, ME; Syracuse, NY: Indianapolis, IN; Providence, RI; and Boston, MA. In addition, Mike has been a nightclub MC and done stand-up comedy, working with Jay Leno, Ellen DeGeneres, Kevin Meany and many others. Mike also hosted his own late-night television show, Friday Feature Flop, on the Fox affiliate in Syracuse, NY.
Currently Mike can be heard doing weekends and swing shifts at WODS Oldies 103.3 in Boston. A veteran instructor, Mike has been teaching Radio Performance at CSB School of Broadcasting since 1992 and is also the Campus Coordinator and Student Advisor at the Boston campus. Mike is married with three children and enjoys sports, music and making people laugh.
