He is the guest booker for Sound Off Connecticut with Jim Vicevich and producer for the Colin McEnroe Afternoon Show, SportsTalk with Joe D'Ambrosio, Saturday Mornings with Stan Simpson and NBC 30's Kevin Nathan. For 5 years he was the UConn Radio Network Producer for all UConn Husky football games and men's and women's basketball games. He produced 3 national championships, 3 Final Fours and the Huskies first-ever appearance in a bowl game. Bobby worked for several stations including WNTY 990, WRTC Trinity College Radio and WMRD 1150 and was part-time producer for the Jason Jarvis Show.

Bobby received his Bachelor's in Communications from the University of Cincinnati in 1999 and attended CSB School of Broadcasting - Hartford (Farmington) from November 2000 to March 2001 when he received his certificate after completing his coursework.

Christopher Edward Marchand
Christopher was born on a blustery October day in 1981 to the lovely Sheila and Gerald Marchand. During the first 18 years of his life, young Christopher experienced many trials and tribulations that aided him in his still unfinished journey.

He graduated Kingswood-Oxford School in 2000 and matriculated to Marist College. At Marist, Christopher studied communications and had a radio show for three years. In 2004, after completing an internship with Madison Square Garden Radio aiding in the production of Knicks and Rangers home games, Christopher graduated with a B.A. in Communications concentrating in radio, television and film.

After taking almost a year off, Christopher decided to attend CSB School of Broadcasting to hone his broadcasting skills and make some connections. It seems to have paid off. About six weeks out of the program, in the March 2006, due to hard work and persistence, Christopher was offered a job at WGGB in Springfield, MA, doing operations for their live newscasts. In late April of 2006, he was asked to come back to CSB School of Broadcasting as an Assistant Instructor in television.

In February of 2007, Christopher left WGGB for an opportunity to be an Associate Producer for dLifeTV, a weekly show about diabetes on CNBC. Along with producing and teaching, Christopher still finds time during the baseball season to work for MLB.com as a game-day editor.

Christopher switches between the Hartford (Farmington) and New Haven (Stratford) campuses where he helps teach the television night classes. Thanks to the help of many different people at CSB School of Broadcasting and beyond, Christopher's future looks bright in television, and he hopes to pass on all his knowledge, experiences and contacts to future CSB School of Broadcasting students.

Rex Emrick
Rex was born and raised in North Central Connecticut and currently resides in Wethersfield. Early exposure to the broadcast industry and the Somers High School radio station WDJW led Rex to CSB School of Broadcasting in 1984. After what seemed to him as a failed attempt, he toiled in area restaurants and a lengthy manufacturing stint with Milton Bradley's Shipping/Receiving department. In late 1999, Rex decided it was time for a change of career course. He attended CSB School of Broadcasting again in the winter of 1999-2000. Then he made a move to a smaller manufacturing firm, Salamander Designs, that allowed for the flexible hours necessary for an internship at WCCC, which came directly following the CSB School of Broadcasting coursework.

Initially focused on production, Rex found his niche in the Promotions department. A complete turnover of the Promotions department in 2001 led Rex into the managerial position he's been at ever since (co-managing with Jonny "Promo" Skonieczny, another CSB School of Broadcasting grad). Jon and Rex work closely as WCCC's Promotional Partners. Jon tends to all on-air promotion, and Rex ensures every on-site promotion runs smoothly. Rex also manages the WCCC's intern program, as well as the entire on-site team for the station. Occasionally, Rex can be heard on-air discussing the events. Though he hasn't ruled out a full-time air shift, he says, "At this point it would take away from the freedom and fun I have, connecting with people one-on-one. I've worked hard to get here, and I'm having the time of my life." Rex views teaching Promotions at CSB School of Broadcasting - Hartford (Farmington) as giving back to a school that opened up doors for him.

Eric Zager
Eric's career in journalism is ripped from the pages of an adventure novel. Upon graduating from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, Eric headed north about as far as one can travel and still be in the U.S. The call of journalism, not a penchant to play with polar bears, brought Eric to the "Last Frontier" - Juneau, Alaska. Eric's career has spanned five states. He's covered everything from the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill to the heart-wrenching abduction and subsequent murder of Sara Anne Wood. His travels have brought him from Millionaires' Row to the backside of Churchill Downs. As a one-man band in Oregon, he was often in the thick of covering major forest fires. He has uncovered numerous scams and scam artists throughout his career. Eric has been a full-time reporter with WTIC-TV since January of 2006. He covers a mix of general assignment and investigative stories. Eric has won more than 25 regional, state and local awards for excellence in journalism. He joined CSB School of Broadcasting as a part-time TV News Instructor in 2006.

Tom Michaels
Tom brings his wealth of broadcast knowledge to both the Hartford (Farmington) and New Haven (Stratford) CSB School of Broadcasting locations. Tom is currently a Traffic Anchor and News Writer for Metro Networks. He can be heard daily throughout Connecticut on stations including WDRC in Hartford, WLAD in Danbury and WMRD in Middletown, along with WSTC and WCTZ in Stamford. In addition to his reporting duties, Tom is also an On-Air Personality with WFOX, 95.9 The Fox, and a former Morning News Host for WSTC. Television credits include traffic reporting for WTNH, News Channel 8, and on-air fundraising for CPTV, where Tom sits on the Community Advisory Board. Past work includes writing for a nationally syndicated radio ski program, working on Fortune 500 advertising accounts, as well as five years of business office experience at CBS Radio in Hartford. Off the air, he finds time to challenge the ski slopes of Quebec with his girlfriend Pam or laze on a tropical beach in Florida.

Michael "DJ Undercover" Ortiz
Born in Puerto Rico and moved to New London, CT, at 2 years old, Michael was introduced to hip-hop DJing in 1995. At 19, he discovered opportunities in weddings and excelled at professional functions for over five years, racking up over 1,000 appearances. He got into radio through a production internship at WWRX in New London and became the first live mix show DJ, doing 5 o'clock mix shows during the week. This later progressed to a Saturday night gig and then a Mix Show Coordinator position. Michael also filled in during on-air shifts and learned programming and music scheduling basics from his mentor while there. All these skills eventually helped him to land a production and fill-in mix show DJ gig at WZMX. He still sits in music, promotions and mix show meetings at WZMX with the intent to gain as much programming knowledge as possible, in order to one day program a station himself.
