Les Krifaton
Les was born in Budapest, Hungary, but grew up in Canada. He studied creative arts in Montreal. He was one of the original broadcasters who helped launch The Weather Network based in Montreal.
After five years in Montreal, Les transferred to Vancouver, British Columbia, where he worked as the network's BC Bureau Chief. He moved to Toronto, Ontario, in 1999 where he was a news anchor before heading to the United States in late 2002.
After working briefly in Palm Springs, California, Les started working at FOX5 in June 2004.
After working full-time as a reporter, Les returned to weather in 2006, anchoring the weekend weather at FOX5 and reporting three days a week.
Les is also a licensed commercial pilot with an instrument flight rating and is certified on three different types of aircraft.
He's currently completing a Bachelor's degree in Geosciences and Weather at Mississippi State.
Andrew Freeman
Andrew has lived and worked in Las Vegas for the past 13 years. He has owned and operated his own production company, Press Play Productions, during this time.
He has studied theatre and film his whole life, working both in front of and behind the camera since the age of 15.
Andrew's company specializes in HD productions and works almost completely within a Final Cut Studio 2 environment.
Andrew is a Certified Final Cut Pro Editor (Levels 1 & 2) and is also an Apple Certified Trainer for FCP 6, Soundtrack Pro 2 and Color. Currently, he is the first and only one in the state of Nevada to teach these applications.
