Ray Thomas
Ray, a CSB School of Broadcasting graduate who was born in Brooklyn, New York, has enjoyed an exciting and lucrative broadcasting career in radio and television spanning over 25 years. He began his career on Florida's Treasure Coast in 1980. Ray has worked in the industry as Operations Manager, Marketing Vice President, Program Director, Assistant Chief Engineer, Radio Air Talent, Account Executive, Floor Director and Master Control Operator for many radio and television stations from Vero Beach to Key West in Florida.
As Director, Ray oversees all aspects of the Orlando campus, from admissions and administration to recruitment and curriculum.
The Orlando campus is surrounded by many forms of broadcast media, including a large television market (#19), a strong radio market (#34), and theme parks like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World. The caliber of instructors is unmatched. The instructors are extremely talented people you see and hear every day, and they know what it takes to succeed in today's broadcast industry. Ray lives in Orlando. He is a self-proclaimed "car nut," and his hobbies include music, drawing, most sports, creating projects on his computer and spending time with his family.
