Bob Carter
It is difficult to sum up the career of Bob Carter and what he brings to the classroom in two paragraphs. He alone has helped hundreds of students excel in the craft of broadcasting. Commercials and theatre, film and acting, even speech and diction – Bob covers it all in his CSB School of Broadcasting classes. He lives, eats, sleeps and drinks show business, and that passion comes through in the classroom.

Having studied under the best (Lee and Paula Strasberg) for 7 years in New York City, Bob gives 100% of himself in his teachings. From the big screen (All About the Benjamins), to Broadway (Defender of the Faith), to national commercials (on-camera spokesperson for Concept Homes), Bob is one of the many tools that students are able to tap into as their careers progress.

Sharon Monroe
When learning behind-the-scenes skills, Sharon is topnotch, with career experience to back it. Winning a 1997 regional Emmy Award for her photojournalism is only one of her many accolades. Excelling at her job means being able to interact efficiently under the pressure of producers, clients, talents and stagehands.

Sharon is a freelance expert, and she displays her videographer skills in each class she teaches. From her camera expertise on the reality show Extreme Expeditions (filmed through remote location of Mexico) to her sports and corporate productions for the Ford Motor Company, MTV, ESPN and the NHL, Sharon is the real deal when it comes to sharing her experiences with students and telling them how it is in production.

Tom Adams
Tom Adams is a second-generation radio broadcaster who entered the industry directly after his Navy tour in March of 1982. Tom Adams' first full-time gig was evenings at 62JDX in Jackson, MS. He was instrumental in launching a 100,000-watt powerhouse in Mobile, LA, (WIZD) in 1984 and then took over as Production Director at WOVV 95.5 on the Treasure Coast in 1985. Tom was later named Program Director under Jim Skylur (Ops Manager) until 1988. Tom received a lion's share of the ratings during these books, the highest being a .16 in the demographic category of women 18–35 during his morning show on WOVV in the fall of 1987. He then moved to the Oldies category on WQOL 103.7 in the summer of 1989 as the Production Director/Sales Account Executive (Weekend Broadcaster).

Tom has worked in many markets since his introduction to broadcasting but mostly in the Treasure Coast market. His positions have included Production Director (WFLM 104.7), Production Director/Music Director (WSTU 1450), Production Director (WZZR 92.7) and Production Director/Morning Show Host/General Sales Manager (WHLG 101.3). Tom instructed class curriculum at CSB School of Broadcasting in 1989 and 1990 on a part-time basis and has returned to fill the position of Campus Coordinator. Most recently Tom left radio broadcasting to write, film and produce the regional television program called Adventures in Saltwater (WTCN-My15, Sunday mornings at 9 am), which is in its 14th year on the air. Tom also owns HLS Media Services Inc. (television writing and development consultants in Stuart) and its division WOLF Broadcast Group (radio consultants).

Corey Saban
Corey Saban anchors weekends at WPBF News 25 and reports 3 days a week. A New York native, Corey spent most of his life right here in South Florida. As a reporter, Corey says he takes pride in his ability to connect with people, and he says the best part of news is that there's never a dull moment.

Corey graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Communications and began his career at WINZ NewsRadio in Miami. His last job as a reporter at WJXT in Jacksonville was a prime example of the variety and excitement that comes with reporting. Corey covered everything from hurricanes to the G8 summit. When not working, he loves to spoil his niece and nephew and read murder mysteries - and admits he's a closet Bee Gees fan.

Ed Gigante
Ed is a proud teacher and instructor at CSB School of Broadcasting, as well as with Palm Beach Gardens High School's Five Star Magnet Program. Ed's career path to Coordinator of the Television and Film Production Technology magnet program at PBG High School was a long and winding one.

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Ed spent 8 years as a Pharmacy Assistant, but his heart was with what he did after hours: community theater. Having a sister making a living in television inspired Ed to take classes at a technical school for TV. He followed his dream, and the rest is history! He even worked for a time on Sesame Street for the Children's Television Workshop.

Marc Golderg
Marc is a graduate of the University of Miami with a degree in Elementary Education. He even taught for three years - 6th grade English.

He always wanted to be a broadcaster and was very much interested in radio, so he stopped teaching and went back to the University of Miami and took communications courses for one year.

Finally, Marc got his start at WRSD Radio in South Dade County and worked in radio for 7 years, including a stop in Vermont. But Marc found his love for TV. Working at WVIT in Hartford doing weekend newscasts for sports, Marc found a clear path to follow. Soon, he was back in Miami doing sports, and ended up working with Ed Gigante (mentioned above) at Palm Beach Gardens High School. Ed and Marc are both lead TV instructors here at CSB School of Broadcasting - Palm Beach.

Mychael Layne
Versatility is the best way to describe Mychael's accomplishments. It seems as if she has tried everything in broadcasting - and succeeded at most - and can relate those experiences and techniques to the classroom. Mentored by Tim Byrd, now at KOOL 105.5 in the afternoons, Mychael was taught discipline and the "the right way" from the start.

Possessing a very unique career path that mostly centers here in South Florida, Mychael worked for the WRMF morning show as Producer and transitioned nicely to Morning Show Co-Host at WHLG The Coast. She even worked the country format in Melbourne at WHKR. Not afraid to spread her wings, Mychael tried her hand at sales, promotions, even traffic reporting for Metro Traffic.

When she's not at school assisting the Director, you can find her with her family raising her son and tinkering with sales on eBay.

Tim Berger
Tim worked retail before making the call to CSB School of Broadcasting back in 2002. He knew that he loved listening to the radio and hated waking up early to a job that wasn't satisfying. Upon completion of the course, Tim secured many valuable skills, including RCS Pro, Audio Vault, Adobe Audition and Pro Tools, just to name a few.

He soon started work with CSB School of Broadcasting radio, doing what brought him to the School originally - producing the WIRK morning show with JD and The Wake-Up Crew. His most famous achievement with the morning show was losing 150+ pounds with Quick Weight Loss - for which he is now a national spokesman! You can also find Tim giving back and helping out students who are just as passionate as he is as a day and night instructor at CSB School of Broadcasting - Palm Beach.

Tim Allen Walker
Tim can do it all! Producing, hosting, audio production, even training students and interns! It all started for him in 1998 in Springfield, MO, as a News Producer. Then he had a unique opportunity to work on The Late Show with David Letterman in NYC. Other stops in his career included being the Executive Producer for the nationally syndicated The Randi Rhodes Show on Air America Radio.

Although Tim has been mobile most of his career (living in 31 different locations), he now resides in WPB and is the Morning Show Producer for Mo and Sally on KOOL 105.5. He is excited about his role in helping students achieve their goals in broadcasting.

Natalie Nichols
Being the third generation of broadcasters in her family, it would seem like being an on-air performer is in Natalie's blood. Whether she is on the mic or on camera, Natalie is right at home in the broadcasting field. As a graduate of CSB School of Broadcasting and former Campus Coordinator at our Palm Beach campus, you can hear and see Natalie all over the airwaves of many South Florida radio and TV stations, as well as work for Westwood One and Metro Traffic. What she has enjoyed the most is flying a Cessna for five years and all the interesting encounters that came along with it (just imagine)!

Along with raising her daughter, Natalie rises at the crack of dawn for work every morning on WJNO with the morning report. It's one of the many highlights of her day because it's never the same, and she likes it that way.
