Students begin assembling demo material and a distribution method from the day they begin their CSB School of Broadcasting careers. They create an online presence that will allow them to post original content such as video clips, podcasts, radio shows and sports play-by-plays. This online presence is guided to help ensure that the students are maximizing their online exposure.
Another aspect of the CSB School of Broadcasting program is the creation of a professional resumé. This creation is guided by campus instructors and will include not only the information they have learned during their CSB School of Broadcasting education, but also a detailed account of time students have spent in the studios learning the industry software and hardware.
The last aspect of the process is the student demo. This is a culmination of all of the projects students have completed, including radio spots, commercials, sports announcing, the radio final project and the television final project. CSB School of Broadcasting students will graduate with all of the tools necessary to successfully market themselves in a competitive industry.
